Martine Kushner is a New York City native and graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, holding a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, with minors in Urban Design and Global Health and the Environment. A product of her progressive upbringing, her interest in architecture stemmed from a conviction that the built environment should be a vehicle for positive impact, and continues to feel most connected to work situated at the junction of design and social change. Outside of studio, Martine can be found exploring new cities and local parks, teaching a dance class, hanging from her aerial silks, or watching Twin Peaks with her dogs. Currently, she is working as an Urban Planning Intern for Humanitarian and Development Practice at UN-HABITAT.
